16 January 2015
10.00 am - 4.00 pm
Facilitated by Lesley Johnston (NHS Lothian) & Nel Whiting (Scottish Womens Aid)
This workshop is designed to help participants appreciate the impact of domestic abuse on those who experience it and perpetrate it, and how it affects their behaviour & choices.
This evidence based session will deconstruct domestic abuse to show how it works to entrap victims in a world of confusion and fear. Drawing on contemporary theorizing, research and real life examples it will explore constructive approaches to working with those affected.
